We have met many people throughout our years while providing Self Storage in the Southern Highlands. Most people share a slice of their personal life stories, some have become friends, who we look forward to see each time they are in Mittagong. We caught up with Mr Tony Campbell to ask him about his experience storing at Tankar Self Storage Centre. Nothing like a prison sentence, his possessions are as happy as Larry!
1. Who stores here?
Tony Campbell. Living in Perth, FIFO quarry worker for last 5 years after having travelled and worked many different jobs in the last 20 years.
2. How did you come to store with Tankar Self Storage Centre?
I used to live in Mittagong working for a local business next door to Tankar. I needed some short term storage which evolved into long term.
3. How many years have you stored?
20 years, most of that is the same space.
4. What is one thing you find good about Self Storage?
Peace of mind in the knowledge my possessions are safe, dry and accessible when needed.
5. What is your top Self Storage tip for would be storers?
Be organised, use boxes and don’t use big boxes that encourage you to pack in lots of stuff and make them ridiculously heavy.
6. If there was one thing you want to keep safe and secure in storage what would it be?
Sentimental items that can’t be replaced.
